Lasted for three days, the 7^th China International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens curtained down in Shanghai on September 21, 2006.

The trade fair covered a total area of 12,000 sm, and attracted over 320 exhibitors from 21 countries, among which Belarus, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Taiwan China organized national or regional pavilions. The exhibits were inclusive of technical textiles, nonwovens, fibers, yarns, synthetic materials, innovative technology, chemical agents, machinery, accessories and testing instruments, which are widely used in agriculture, geography, architecture, automobile, environmental protection, hospital, industries, labour protection, sports and package.

Mr. Du Yuzhou, President of China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) visited the event, accompanied by Mr. Zhang Yankai, Vice Executive President of the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, Mr. Zhu Minru, Chairman of China Nonwovens and Industrial Textiles Association and other officials of the organizers.
