For the benefit of the mutual interests of textile machinery manufacturers and their customers worldwide, and in order to inform about important textile machinery exhibitions in the years 2006 and 2007 in Europe and Asia, Cematex, the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers (CEMATEX), the China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA), and the Japan Textile Machinery Association (JTMA) hereby issue the following Joint Statement:

An international textile machinery exhibition is the most important platform to accelerate the development of the global textile industry and this exhibition should adequately reflect the interests of all world textile machinery manufacturers as well as their customers. The three above mentioned associations have decided to strengthen their cooperation in order to improve the quality of textile machinery exhibitions.

To this end CEMATEX and JTMA will fully support the 10th China International Textile Machinery Exhibition (CITME 2006) held in Beijing and CTMA and JTMA will fully support ITMA 2007 held in Munich, Germany. 

We therefore warmly welcome all global textile machinery buyers to visit CITME 2006 in Beijing and ITMA 2007 in Munich.
