Two international textile machinery shows, ITMA Asia and CITME , which were previously held in Singapore and Beijing, will be combined from 2008.

RESS CONFERENCE ON ITMA Asia and CITME was held in Beijing on Oct. 17.

The show will be held in Shanghai every two years. The first is scheduled for July 27 to 31, 2008.

ITMA Asia was launched in 2001 by the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers. CITME was launched in 1988 by the China Textile Machinery Association, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the China International Exhibition Centre Corp.
